Our TeamOur team consists of four 6th graders, two adult coaches, two youth mentor, two technical mentors, and eight supportive and enthusiastic parents help us make all of this possible. This is our second year in FIRST and first year in FTC.

Austin XiaoHello, my name is Austin Xiao and I am a sixth grader at Boulan Park Middle School. This is my 2nd year in FIRST, with one year in FLL and my first year in FTC. My favorite color is black and I enjoy swimming, running, reading and sleeping.

Coach Li is a professor at Lawrence Technological University. She coordinates the overall planning of our robotics meetings and competitions. She helps us set goals for each meeting, provides access to 3D printing, leads core value challenge activities, and works with Coach Chen, our mentors and parents to provide a cooperative, dynamic and fun environment for us to learn robotics.
Coach Chen is a software engineer in ND Industries Inc.. He has been teaching us programming (EV3 and Java) since we started our FIRST journey in 2017. In this FTC season, Coach Chen has been guiding us in the discussion of robot design strategy, building, programming and testing.

Mentor Vijay is a junior in Troy High. He is a part of the Troy robotics club, team 226, and a part of the programming team. He enjoys robotics and problem solving, and is into math and science. He helps with all parts of the FTC team. He wants to become a computer engineer in the future, and go to the University of Michigan.
