State Championship at Macomb Community College
The State Championship went very well for us. After our judge interview, we continued to create strategies with our alliances for the qualification matches, which were released the night before. After opening ceremony, we played our 3 matches of the day. After a close game of 98 to 80, we rose up to the top. At the end of the day, we remained undefeated. The next day, however, was very nerve racking. We were going up against two teams with top OPRs in our division. We managed to win that game with a narrow margin of 2 points, 88 to 86.
After all the qualification matches, we managed to be the only undefeated team stayed at the top. Our team came up with a list of 10 other teams that we wanted to choose for the elimination matches. We managed to advance into the Woodie Flowers division finals. In the division finals, we met team 12912 ,the Robo Kids, who were the second seed alliance captain. During the first match, we set a new world record for the highest scoring elimination match. During second match’s end game period, the opponent’s robot pushed our robot, which caused us to push the foundation back into the building site. We were also unable to put the capstone on. During our 3rd finals match, we managed to defeat the 12912’s alliance by 10 points. Our alliance became the winners of our division.
We then advanced onto the inter-division finals. We faced the Marie Curie division’s 1st seed led by 10016 the Clarkston RoboWolves. During the first match, we won by a very narrow margin of 1 point. Our alliance had a great surge of rejoice and confidence now. We later discovered that we had to replay that match since there was a problem with the Wi-Fi for one robot. We once again beat them, and did even better, beating them by 12 points. During our 2nd match, we were going for a 6 stack when the level of the robot’s battery was unable to lift the linear extender to its maximum height. This caused us to knock down our skyscraper and lost the match because of that. During our 3rd match, the opponents got two 4 stacks with a capstone on top. We on the other hand, had one 6 stack with 1 capstone on top. Before the monitor with the scores turned off, the score was currently 102 – 70, and we were losing. Looking at it, we were demoralized. We ended up winning narrowly by 4 points! 106 - 102!!!!!! We were overjoyed and honored to be awarded the 2019 Michigan State Championship at Macomb Community College Winning Alliance trophy and a ticket to the World Championship at the TCF Center in Detroit.

OCCRA Qualifier
Because we had already advanced into states, we had switched our normal drivers with new drivers. We had also changed our autonomous and some of our robot design. This Qualifier went poorly at first, but then we regained our strength and came back up.
During the qualification matches, we lost all but 2 games. During the first match, we pulled the foundation back in after pulling it out. The second match, we didn't fully reset the linear extender so in autonomous, it got stuck under the sky bridge. During Tele-Op we extended the arm too far which then disconnected the wires so the swing arm wouldn't move. We then fixed these problems and the next matches we won. We then played our final match with more confidence but ended up losing which brought us down to 24th place.
Before alliance selection, we then managed to convince the 3rd seed, 11717, to choose us as 2nd pick. We also switched the new drivers with our normal ones so we had a higher chance of winning. We faced the 2nd seed, 15256, and managed to win by a mere point in the 3rd match.
After advancing into the finals, we faced the 1st seed, 16536. After beating them in the 3rd match, we became the champions of the first OCCRA qualifier which qualified us for states the second time. We were also the 1st runner up for the Control Award.

Howell 2 Qualifier
We performed quite well this qualifier. We stayed undefeated until our final qualification match. On the way, we registered the high score of the qualifier with 10538 which was 94 points. We also had the 2nd highest OPR at the competition which was 35 right behind 10538's 38 point OPR.
After all of our qualification matches, we ended up being 8th place. We continued to attempt to convince 10538, who were the 1st seed, to choose us. We succeeded our goal and were chosen by 1st seed as first pick. We defeated every alliance we faced 2-0. We then won our final elimination match and were the champions of the qualifier.
Because of this, we won a ticket to the State Championship at Battle Creek which we later transferred to the Macomb Community College Championship instead.

Troy Qualifier
This was the first qualifier of the season for us, and it went poorly at first but got better later. When we finished setting up our pit area, we waited until it was time for our judge interview. The judging interview didn't go as we thought it would go. We went over the 5 minute time limit so our presentation was never finished.
After the opening ceremony and the drivers meeting, we played 3 matches before lunch. Unfortunately, we lost our first match. After the first match, we went undefeated. After the qualification matches were over, we were ranked 8th and had an OPR of 24. We were the 2nd pick for the 2nd seed. We unfortunately lost in the semi finals and weren't awarded any awards.
